Special Bday Gift from Daddy

Yes, it's a special birthday gift from Daddy!
Here we are at Esplanade, a day before my actual birthday for this special magic show.
I even got the signed autograph from Lawrence and Priscilla on my Vision book...
I feel honored to meet them in person...
Mummy & Daddy helped me took a picture of me with them together...Cool!

Thereafter, we had some light snacks before we head for home.
We had a wonderful time together....

Zoo-Zoo, Here we come!

It was a glorious morning and we were going to the Zoo! Hippie~ thibits-checked; water bottles-checked; wipes & tissues-checked; most important thing 'camera'-checked; entrance tickets-all checked...Yes! We were ready to set off our Zoo Trip!

Our last visit was more than 2 years ago. Now, we are back again and hopefully to see few more new species. Brandon was really excited and he was our little tour guide for the day. Holding on to the brochure and map, he's telling us where we should head to what's awaiting us before we see the animals. *smile....

We settled our lunch at the Ah Meng's Restaurant.... food was nice but expensive. I has my Mango dessert..really nice and sweet.... Brandon has pasta and his NaiNai had Nasi Bryani to fill their stomach. All of us enjoyed and we also watched a performance by the lovely and smart seals... they were so so so cute!

Overall, it's not a matter of the place that we went to... but the bonding time that we spent together over a weekend... I love it and I'm sure my boy share the same thought as me~

Singapore & ASEAN Schools Maths Olympiad 2011

Brandon participated in the Singapore & ASEAN Schools Maths Olympiad 2011 earlier in April. The results are out and Brandon scored a BRONZE Award. He is ranked no. 483 in ASEAN ranking. It's very complex on how the scoring and ranking are done but there are specific awards like 'Perfect Score', 'Gold Awards', 'Silver Awards', 'Bronze Awards' and 'Merit Awards'. He said that he was disappointed that he only managed to get Bronze while the rest of his team-mates got Gold and Silver awards but I told him that it was a good experience to be involved in such Inter-school, Inter-Regional competitions. The most funny part is that he eventually gotten over his disappointment, not because of my advice but because he discovered that there are lower awards, ie Merit awards. *faint*



Planes viewing at Changi Beach Park

Had a quick 'get-away' breather out of the normal day at Changi Beach Park in the evening.  Daddy say to get out of the house to have some fresh air, rather than staying inside the house whole day.  He didnt tell me where we were going at first.  We cruised along Changi Coast Road and enjoyed the long stretch of views on the airport runway.  We then reached Changi Beach Park and I was so excited to see planes flying just above my head.  I have never experience being so close to a flying plane.  The engine sound was loud but bearable.  So excited and the feeling was as if I could just stretch out my hands and touch the planes above me.  Heeheehee....

I really had a happy time with Daddy during my June school holiday. He bought me many presents which I requested, he also cooked one of my favorite dish - Pasta! So Yummy~ Mummy cooked 2 times for me but failed. She promised me she will do better on her 3rd try. Tomorrow we are going to zoo. Hopefully it will not rain this time. I want 'Sunny 叔叔' to be on duty the whole day tomorrow... pleaseeeee.....
