Zoo-Zoo, Here we come!

It was a glorious morning and we were going to the Zoo! Hippie~ thibits-checked; water bottles-checked; wipes & tissues-checked; most important thing 'camera'-checked; entrance tickets-all checked...Yes! We were ready to set off our Zoo Trip!

Our last visit was more than 2 years ago. Now, we are back again and hopefully to see few more new species. Brandon was really excited and he was our little tour guide for the day. Holding on to the brochure and map, he's telling us where we should head to what's awaiting us before we see the animals. *smile....

We settled our lunch at the Ah Meng's Restaurant.... food was nice but expensive. I has my Mango dessert..really nice and sweet.... Brandon has pasta and his NaiNai had Nasi Bryani to fill their stomach. All of us enjoyed and we also watched a performance by the lovely and smart seals... they were so so so cute!

Overall, it's not a matter of the place that we went to... but the bonding time that we spent together over a weekend... I love it and I'm sure my boy share the same thought as me~

Like Father Like Son

I happened to scroll thru some of my photo albums and found this picture really nicey! They made a handsome pair, don't they? Both seem so carefree and joyful.... I feel good whenever I see them playing and having fun together. I feel content and at ease... especially when things getting better... and we move on... I am also glad his Daddy is getting more active in this blog lately...  I believe you can tell who's the writer for each post we uploaded. I am more into traveling, school work and behaviour whereas Daddy is more involved in his son's liking..mmm..I should interest... etc. comics..movies..outings...expeditions.. ya.. all about the 'guys things'...so Man!

It is definitely good for Brandon to share his interest with his father and getting involved together is another effort put in... I appreciate that sweet thought... sincerely deep in my heart... Okay... its time for work...another busy-busy Thursday...'ciao~ciao'

Yeah! We are on time.

Hip Hip Hooray x 3! Today Brandon woke up at 6.10am, had a quick shower, hot cheesy breakfast and wore his shoes by 7am. All set to go and he reached school exactly 7.15am. Phewww~

We going to keep it up from today onwards. He assure me he will go to bed by 10pm every Monday to Friday. I shall believe him this time and monitor see how it goes.

Yesterday, we had full day of fun with rides and shows at Universal Studio Singapore. Despite it's the smallest USS IN THE WORLD and many rides only take barely 2mins, we enjoyed the interesting action theme shows and photo-taking. Running around chasing after the Woodpeckers; Penguins; Madagascar... It was a wonderful Sunday with family and friends!

I will upload the pictures soon...

Brandon and Angel had a merry time at our hometown last weekend. Unfortunately, too much of cold drinks and unhealthy food, Brandon fall sick and he's still coughing badly. I'm sure he miss his cousins from Kuala Lumpur. He had lots of fun time with them for 2 nights. He even asked me if he can return in Dec during the school holidays to meet them for a trip to the beach. I did not promise him as I have another trip for him. I want to bring to Cambodia this early Dec, to join me the community work at Phnom Penh with PropNex Cares trip. I hope he will learn and gain some experience or lessons in his life after the trip. It's important to let him witness how fortunate he is than those kids there.

USNW Result - Science

Wow-Wow! My boy did a Great Job in his USNW Science exam and he scored 21/30. His score was in the top 3% of Primary 3 participants in Singapore. Brandon's class, 37 out of 42 students get a 'participation certificate'. Shane is the top student in class and scored a High Distinction. Which means his score was in 1% of Primary 3 students in Singapore.

I truly impressed and proud of Brandon! Gotta oink now.

Decent Meal becomes Indecent!

Good intention to cook a meal for Brandon.. but...huh...
Look at my 'chao-ta' hot-dogs...sob-sob~
A rare chance for me to laze at home... thanks to our 'National Day'... I'm able to do so and so much wanted to cook a decent meal for Brandon. Already woke up so late at 11plus.. he had brunch for breakfast. I thought it's easy to make a light simple meal for his late lunch..but... OMG! My sausages look very appealing the first five mins, I just turned to wash few dishes and came back to find them all burnt into 'black patches'! Brandon was disgusted and told me bluntly he will not eat any of those even if I cut away those burnt skins. Arghhh!!!

Even the porridge doesn't interest him at all. He only love the small meat chunks that I cooked shortly after and he only ate those. In the end, I finished the tasteless porridge and burnt hot-dogs all by myself. sigh~~~ I asked for it.. I should stick to my delivery call.
